Art & Design Tutor, Teacher
HI, my name is Charlotte but everyone calls me Lottie. I have the ability to communicate with children especially those with learning disabilities as I have learned so much from having them myself. Having Dyslexia, Irlens and Hearing Processing Disorder made school really hard for me so with the right techniques that I honed over the years I was able to go to my dream university to do my dream course, Architecture. Throughout secondary school I tutored at GCSE level in the 3 sciences and the Design Subjects as this is where I thrived. I shared my techniques with all the children and it was wonderful hearing them get amazing results in their exams. I have a lot fo experience working with kids in tutoring. Outside of this I spent the summer working in a camp in America teaching kids all kinds of sports, games and arts. I spent 24/7 for 7 weeks with the same children and watching them develop as people and also learn so much was beautiful. I am reliable and hardworking despite my spelling mistakes. I have worked in so many different sectors over the years from marketing to childcare to management. I am organised and have great communication skills. The price varies on time and subject however are all affordable prices and up for discussion. Thank you for your time.

My experience, training and approach to teaching make me a perfect fit forthe tutoring children I believe that my beliefs in exploring, experimenting and challenge as a way of revealing students’ unique talents and successand this is one of my main reasons for applying for this position as a tutor.
My two main passions in life are nurturing and creating art. The second is working with youngpeople to help them get the most out of the creation process as well and to feel the joy which I dowhen I make Art. From a young age, it was very clear to me that I would pursue a career as an Artist.
After gaining my University degree and having completed two diplomas in art and design from two of London’s best art schools where I developed my painting practice, I was ready to begin my careeras an Artist.
After my training, I had my first solo exhibition, I sold out of all thirty paintings which I spent one year creating. For some time, I enjoyed continued success and had multiple exhibitions, both Group and Solo and soon after I realised that I wanted to share my skills and passion. Since I have always enjoyed working with young people had previously worked part time in a Preschool as an Art Specialist, I decided to join a private tutoring agency in London, students would come to my studio inLondon and I would support them through their GCSE’s. Having enjoyed working with slightly older students so much, I decided to apply for an Artist in residence position at Garden House School in London.
At this point I had enjoyed teaching students from EYSF through to Key Stage 3 to 4 as well as myexperience giving ‘mindfulness art workshops‘ to adults in London’s members clubs; a programme I ran independently in a quest inspire young adults to maintain their wellbeing through the process of abstract painting.
I have thoroughly enjoyed all my teaching experiences thus far, the combination of being an artist, working with very young children where playfulness is at the heart of development and up to GCSEwhen students are thinking about pursuing a career in this wonderful subject. It became moreapparent that a job as an Art teacher where I could continue to apply and develop my creativity, motivation and ambition was perfectly suited to me.
Upon this discovery, I have begun to invest some more time and energy into helping work, after myposition as an artist in residence at garden House Primary School in London I began a counselling course which was online as a result of COVID 19, I also qualified as an Art Therapy Coach. I now look forward to using all my experince both as a professional exhibiting ar and teacher and helping children in develop and grow their artistic capabilities in the wonderful subject of Art.

My name is B. Oluwafemi, a Fine Artist, and a major promoter of African arts. I hail from Ijumu local government area of Kogi state Nigeria with a Degree in Fine Arts (specialty in Art History). I am currently running my Masters in Fine Arts at the UniversityFor The Creative Arts Farnham UK. I also run the Artmazing studios where we offer a wide range of services from murals, graffiti, illustrations, digital arts, body arts and art consultancy with the sole goal of promoting African Arts.
I grew up in Zaria, Kaduna where I got my Degree from Ahmadu Bello University. I began my career as a Makeup Artist after completing my National youth service assignment in Daura, Katsina state and subsequently decided to go into full time art practice. I have always been an experimental person and in my artistry, I decided to infuse Traditional African Art into urban arts to create an Afro-centric modern synergy. My works can attest to this. From completion of my NYSC till date I have worked on several commissioned art projects in Abuja. Some of these projects can be seen in popular locations I Abuja like Jabi Boat Club, Discovery Museum, Trukadero, The Nigerian Air Force, Barlance Abuja, Whiskey Mistress, Nigerian Naval Recreation Center, The Rochas Foundation but the highlight will have to be a graffiti job commissioned for the Queen’s Birthday.
I am also a renowned body artist, stretching the boundaries with lines and African motifs using the human skin as a canvas, to create beautiful and stunning patterns. I have been hosted in several exhibitions and fairs where I worked on body art models and enthusiasts.
I work from my studio space/office where you will mostly always find me sketching out designs on my iPad or painting on a canvas. As far as inspiration, I pick inspiration from any and everything, ranging from works of artists I revere to a simple conversation.
Art is my one sole primary focus and that is why I always seek to give it my all. Art is a voice to me, my form of expression, it speaks when I have no words. It is the easiest way I pass messages on lots of issues. I plan to contribute to my field by using art to tell my African story and discovering new and improved ways to better my country, continent and the world at large.

Art is for everyone! It's down to confidence, practise and allowing yourself to make mistakes!
Observation is key exploring different mark making and you're off to a good start.
It doesn't matter if you think you can't draw. If you are new to drawing I will show you simple techniques to help you gain the confidence you need.
If you are a GCSE art student or studying A level Art, I can give you extra support to get you through and help you gain the higher grades.
