Availability within 3 miles catchment area. Providing tuition for all ages at pupils homes.
I have been tutoring families as well, inspiring them to learn and play four hands repertoire, as well as preparing for ABRSM exams. I'm tutoring pupils for their own pleasure or ABRSM grades, in relaxed, positive, encouraging and motivational atmosphere towards achieving better levels of performance. From classical to contemporary and popular music, the choice is yours. All that matters is having joy of playing music, whether beginner, intermediate or advanced. 12 years of experience, piano or keyboard is perfectly fine with me, what matters the most is enthusiasm and genuine desire to improve. I'm based in West London, references upon request.

Welcome to my profile! I'm Adeline, and for the past 8 years, I've been sharing my passion for music through teaching. With 18 years of personal experience in piano playing and 6 years dedicated to refining my skills at a prestigious music school, I'm excited to offer comprehensive piano instruction. My qualifications include a Grade 6 in piano and Grade 4 in music theory from the esteemed London College of Music, as well as a Grade 4 in electronic keyboard from Trinity College. These certifications underscore my commitment to excellence and provide a solid foundation for my teaching approach. During my teaching tenure, I've had the privilege of guiding over 130 students, with a focus on classical and Western music. Notably, around 60 of my students chose to pursue formal examinations, and I'm proud to say that they achieved exceptional results, passing with distinction. My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that music is a deeply personal art form with the power to enrich lives. I create a supportive environment tailored to each student's learning style, fostering a strong foundation in technique while nurturing creativity and a love for music. Dominique is a recent Master's graduate from the Royal College of Music and has teaching experience of over five years. In line with her passion for sharing music, she believes that anyone can succeed at learning to play an instrument with the right support and environment. Using some elements of the Suzuki method, such as listening, imitation, and memorisation, and combining these with note-reading, rhythm, and musicianship skills (playing alongside other musicians/recording), Dominique can see her pupils make significant progress in each lesson. Because playing an instrument is physically challenging, it is essential to spend a constant amount of personal time for practice between lessons, which Dominique recognizes from her own experience as demanding. This is why, in each lesson, she discusses and makes a plan with her pupil regarding the practice structure, as well as being available for any questions during the week, on the phone and via email.

Education always was the main part of my life. I started my teaching career at the age of nineteen years old and still doing this job for more than 5 years already. My main skills are next: have the ability to communicate complex information in a simple and entertaining manner, know how to be a team player and resolve problems professionally.
In Ukraine i used to be a part of music group which was quite popular due to the fact that our music was broadcasted on Ukrainian radio. Also we were filming video clips and recording new music non stop.
In the UK I often arrange piano recitals and collect money for Ukraine. I was playing in Guildford, Shere and London during this year. So, I can teach you not only how to play the piano, but also how to perform and represent yourself professionally.

Personal Description:
I'm a trainee Music Therapist studying at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, enrolled as a jazz pianist. Piano has always been my passion, achieving Grade 8 when I was only 11. Since then I have studied at Newcastle University achieving a First Degree in BA (Hons) Music before working at Oakham School as their Graduate Musician. I'm an award winning composer (NMSW Young Composer Award 2015) and an award winning performer (STAGE Edinburgh Award 2018: Timpson: The Musical) who also works extensively as an audio engineer and podcast producer. At 23 I'm a young, enthusiastic face who can offer in-face and online teaching.
Tutoring Experience:
I worked as a jazz piano tutor at Oakham School but also for early lessons in classical. Asides from this I tutored KS3 music and music theory classes up to Grade 8 ABRSM.
Tutoring Approach:
As a music therapist I have to work to try and compliment everybody's innate musicality. Because of this I can easily adapt teaching to fit the needs of the student. I am a great believer in off-the-book learning and have seen myself the benefit of taking classical skills (scales, harmony, technique) and applying them to aural learning and improvisation. I think that the piano is something that anybody can love if they have the right person to teach them that.
