Dr Atamgba A. is an accomplished university teacher with a rich interdisciplinary academic experience in Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition as well as Chemistry. He also has significant industrial experience in vegetable oil and oily waste servicing industries, working in various capacities from Research and Development Chemist, overseeing the quality control unit to a Lead / Senior Operator of a Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU) plant used for the remediation of hydrocarbon-contaminated oily wastes. His Industrial experience adds practical insights to his academic expertise. His educational background includes a strong proficiency in the Russian language, gained during his studies in Ukraine. Dr A. has held various administrative roles such as Head of Department and Dean of Faculty, demonstrating his leadership and versatility in adapting to new academic trends.

I have been tutoring individual pupils from a variety of backgrounds and abilities for nearly a decade now. I have also been teaching GCSE, A-Level, and Year 9 history since 2013-14, and have an outstanding track record in terms of results. Approximately 90% of the students I have taught at GCSE level have achieved a 7-9 grade, and I have had pupils achieve places at Oxbridge to read History within the last two years. I have excellent technical knowledge of exam preparation and essay or source paper questions, and am especially familiar with content involving the crusades (1099-1204), Russia 1894-1924, International Relations 1919-1990, and Germany 1918-45. That being said, I am willing to work on content from any time period, and with pupils of any ability or age level. My particular strength lies in the passion that I have for my subject, and my primary aim is to inspire pupils with a love for the subject.
Outside of the classroom I have led or been involved with student trips to Berlin, Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg), and the battlefields of France and Belgium. "Stuart manages to bring variety in his approach to classes. Some weeks he positions tables propped upright on their ends and we work in various media on paper the full size of the model. Sometimes we draw a model who moves in various ways in rotation. Our still life evenings are also different, he brings in a pigs head for us to draw, and also a brace of pheasants. Stuart is always very encouraging. He covers all the basics in teaching us how to measure the body by eye, by aligning different parts of the body, and demonstrates different media techniques. "

I have won many piano competitions locally and internationally. I have performed in Salzburg and Bonn for the Grand Prize Virtuoso Music Competition, and have recently performed my piano concerto debut in Oakham. I have also won local festivals such as the Bedfordshire Music Festival.
